Terms and Conditions – Ruwaa Beauty

1. Introduction

Welcome to Ruwaa Beauty, a platform connecting clients with professional home beauty and wellness service providers. By using Ruwaa Beauty, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

These Terms and Conditions are divided into two sections:

A. Clients: For individuals booking beauty and wellness services.

B. Service Providers: For professionals offering beauty and wellness services.

SECTION ONE: TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR CLIENTS

2. User Accounts

- Clients must provide accurate personal details when registering.

- The client is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account.

- Any misuse of the platform, including fake bookings or providing false information, may result in permanent account suspension and could expose you to legal accountability under the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

3. Booking and Payments

3.1 Booking Process

- Clients can browse and book services based on provider availability.

- Bookings are confirmed only when the service provider accepts the request.

- Clients must ensure they are available at the scheduled time and location.

3.2 Payment Terms

- All payments must be made through the Ruwaa Beauty platform.

- Clients are charged through the platform only after the service provider accepts the booking.

- No cash payments are allowed.

3.3 Cancellation and Refunds

a. Clients may cancel bookings before the service provider accepts without any penalty.

b. If a client cancels after payment, the following policies apply:

- More than 48 hours before the appointment → No cancellation fee.

- Between 48 to 24 hours before the appointment → SAR 10 cancellation fee.

- Between 24 to 12 hours before the appointment → SAR 20 cancellation fee.

- Less than 12 hours before the appointment → SAR 30 cancellation fee.

- if the service provider were on their way to the client location or the client failed to be present at the scheduled time and location will be treated as a last-minute cancellation → 100% charge (no refund).

c. Refunds will be processed only in the following cases:

- The service provider fails to show up.

- Technical issues prevent service fulfillment.

- Dissatisfaction with the service (subject to review).

d. Refunds will be issued to the client’s wallet within 3-5 business days.

4. Ratings and Reviews

- Clients can rate and leave written reviews about service providers.

- Reviews should be honest, relevant, and respectful.

- Ruwaa Beauty reserves the right to remove fake, abusive, or misleading reviews.

5. Client Responsibilities

- Provide a safe and appropriate environment for services.

- Must not request illegal or inappropriate services.

- Treat service providers with respect and professionalism.

6. Liability Disclaimer

- Ruwaa Beauty is not responsible for service execution, quality, or disputes between clients and service providers.

- Services are booked at the client’s own risk.

7. Dispute Resolution

- Disputes should first be addressed via Ruwaa Beauty’s customer support.

- If unresolved, legal disputes will be governed by the laws of Saudi Arabia.

SECTION 2: TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR SERVICE PROVIDERS

2. Service Provider Accounts

- Providers must provide accurate service descriptions, pricing, and availability.

- A valid subscription is required to be listed on Ruwaa Beauty platform.

- Providers act as independent contractors, not employees of Ruwaa Beauty.

3. Service Quality and Responsibilities

- Maintain professional conduct, hygiene, and punctuality.

- Use clean tools and adhere to health regulations.

- Provide services only as listed in their profile.

- Respect client privacy and personal space.

4. Bookings and Payments

4.1 Accepting Bookings

- Service providers can accept or decline bookings.

- Once a booking is accepted, the provider must fulfill the service.

4.2 Payment Terms

- Providers receive payments after completing the service, minus Ruwaa Beauty’s commission.

- Payments are processed via the platform; cash payments are not allowed.

- Service providers are responsible for any taxes and legal obligations.

4.3 Cancellation Policy

a. Providers are expected to honor all accepted bookings.

b. If a provider cancels after clients payment:

- First-time cancellations: A warning is issued.

- Repeated cancellations: after 3 cancelations May result in suspension or removal from the platform.

c. If a provider cancels after payment, the following policies apply:

- More than 48 hours before the appointment → 10 riyals compensation to the client from the provider.

- Between 48 to 24 hours before the appointment → 30 riyals compensation to the client from the provider.

- Less than 24 hours before the appointment → 50 riyals compensation to the client from the provider.

5. Ratings and Reviews

- Clients can leave ratings and written reviews after service completion.

- Ruwaa Beauty may remove fake, offensive, or misleading reviews.

6. Subscription and Account Termination

- Service providers must maintain an active subscription to remain listed.

- Providers may be removed for repeated cancellations, low ratings, or policy violations.

- Accounts may be terminated for fraud, misconduct, or unprofessional behavior and could expose you to legal accountability under the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

7. Code of Conduct

- Providers must conduct themselves professionally and respectfully at all times.

- Harassment, discrimination, or unprofessional behavior may lead to immediate termination and could expose you to legal accountability under the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

8. Liability Disclaimer

- Ruwaa Beauty is not responsible for client disputes, injuries, or damages resulting from services.

- Service providers are solely responsible for their work quality and any risks involved.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

- Ruwaa Beauty does not share service provider data with third parties without consent.

- All transactions are securely processed within the platform.

10. Dispute Resolution

- Disputes should first be addressed via Ruwaa Beauty’s customer support.

- If unresolved, legal disputes will be governed by the laws of Saudi Arabia.

SECTION 3: GENERAL TERMS FOR ALL USERS

1. Platform Responsibilities

- Ruwaa Beauty is a marketplace platform and does not employ service providers.

- The platform is not responsible for service execution, quality, or disputes.

2. Amendments to Terms

- Ruwaa Beauty reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time.

- Users (clients and service providers) will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of the platform indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
