Account Deletion – Ruwaa Beauty

  1. Introduction

Ruwaa Beauty respects your right to control your personal data. This page explains how clients and service providers can delete their Ruwaa Beauty account, what happens to your data when you do, and what we are legally required to keep.

This policy is divided into three sections:

A. Clients: For individuals who book beauty and wellness services.

B. Service Providers: For professionals who offer services through the platform.

C. General terms that apply to all users.

SECTION ONE: ACCOUNT DELETION FOR CLIENTS

  1. How to Request Deletion

2.1 From within the app

  • Open the Ruwaa Beauty app and go to Profile.

  • Select Contact Us.

  • Choose "Delete Account" as the reason for contact.

  • Submit the request.

2.2 If you cannot access the app

  • Email Support@ruwaabeauty.sa from the email address registered on your account, with the subject "Account Deletion Request".

  • Include the mobile number registered on your account.

  1. Before Your Account Is Deleted

  • Any confirmed or pending bookings must be completed or cancelled. Cancellation fees apply as stated in the Terms and Conditions.

  • Any remaining wallet balance will be refunded to your original payment method within 3–5 business days after the deletion request is approved. Balances that cannot be refunded to a payment method are forfeited.

  • Open disputes or refund requests will be resolved before deletion is completed.

  1. Verification and Timeline

  • We will verify the request through the mobile number registered on your account.

  • Once verified, your account is deactivated immediately and permanently deleted within 30 days.

  • You may cancel the deletion request by contacting support at any time during the 30-day period.

  1. What Is Deleted

  • Name, mobile number, email address, and saved addresses.

  • Booking history and preferences.

  • Saved payment methods (card details are held by our payment processor and are removed from your profile).

  • Ratings and reviews you have written. Reviews may remain visible in anonymised form.

  • Chat and support messages, except where retained under Section 3 below.

SECTION TWO: ACCOUNT DELETION FOR SERVICE PROVIDERS

  1. How to Request Deletion

  • Open the Ruwaa Beauty Provider app, go to Profile, select Contact Us, and choose "Delete Account" as the reason.

  • Alternatively, email Support@ruwaabeauty.sa from your registered email address.

  1. Before Your Account Is Deleted

  • All accepted bookings must be completed or cancelled. Provider cancellation compensation applies as stated in the Terms and Conditions.

  • Any outstanding payouts owed to you will be settled to your registered bank account in the next payment cycle.

  • Any active subscription will be cancelled. Subscription fees already paid are non-refundable.

  • Any amounts owed by you to Ruwaa Beauty (such as client compensation) will be deducted from the final payout.

  1. Verification and Timeline

  • We will verify the request through the mobile number registered on your account.

  • Your profile is removed from the platform immediately upon verification and your account is permanently deleted within 30 days after the final payout is settled.

  1. What Is Deleted

  • Personal and business details, profile photos, service listings, and pricing.

  • Booking history and earnings dashboard.

  • Registered bank account details.

  • Ratings and reviews left about you will no longer be publicly visible.

SECTION THREE: GENERAL TERMS FOR ALL USERS

  1. Data We Are Required to Retain

Even after your account is deleted, Ruwaa Beauty retains certain records where required by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia:

  • Invoices, payment records, and transaction logs, for the period required by the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority.

  • Records related to an unresolved dispute, complaint, or legal claim, until the matter is closed.

  • Records we are required to keep for fraud prevention or platform security.

Retained records are stored securely, are not used for marketing, and are deleted once the retention period ends.

  1. Reactivation

  • A deleted account cannot be restored. If you wish to use Ruwaa Beauty again, you will need to register a new account.

  • Booking history, wallet balance, ratings, and subscription status from the deleted account will not be transferred.

  1. Amendments

  • Ruwaa Beauty reserves the right to update this policy at any time. Significant changes will be communicated through the app or by email.
